LINGUISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM THE TEACHERS' POINT OF VIEW IN THE PROVINCE OF BAGHDAD

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the linguistic development of primary school students from the point of view of female teachers in Baghdad governorate. The study sample consisted of (96) Arabic language teachers who practice education in the first grade of primary school in primary schools in the General Directorate of the city of Baghdad. Achieving the objectives of the study The researcher prepared the research tool, which was represented by a questionnaire that included (40) items distributed in two domains : the first field, linguistic development, and the second area, cognitive development, and adopted the five-point Likert scale, and when analyzing the results using arithmetic averages, standard deviations and percentages, as well as the test of variance analysis And the Fakronbach equation.
The results of the study also revealed that the estimates of female teachers for the aspects of linguistic and cognitive development were at a large level, and on the other hand, they showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the female teachers ’estimates of the features of growth in the linguistic and cognitive fields statistically among first-grade pupils according to the scientific qualification variable and years of experience
