Abstract


THE RELATIONSHIP OF LEVEL 5 LEADERSHIP WITH EMPLOYEES' PERFORMANCE AND ALIENATION
In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effects of the leadership level perceptions of the sales personnel working in Turkcell communication dealers in the Eastern Marmara Region on the performance and job alienation levels of the employees. The research was carried out with a total of 188 participants, 57% female and 43% male. Data were collected using the 5th Level Leadership Scale, Work Alienation Scale and Performance Scale via Google forms. According to the results of the analysis; It was found that there was a moderately positive (r=0.516) significant (p<0.01) relationship between leadership level perceptions and individual performance. It was determined that there was a weak positive (r=0.495) significant (p<0.01) relationship between leadership level perceptions and institutional performance. It was concluded that there is a weak negative (rindividual=-.253) (rinstitutional=-.445) significant (p<0.01) relationship between the participants' perceptions of leadership level and work alienation. A weak negative (r=-.378) and significant (p<0.01) relationship was found between the individual and institutional performance of the participants and their work alienation. Thus, all hypotheses formed within the scope of the research were confirmed.
