Abstract
HANNA MİNA’NIN BAKAYA SUVAR VE SİRA’U İMRAETEYN ADLI ROMANLARINDAKİ KADIN KAHRAMANLARIN PROFİLLERİNE DAİR BİR DEĞERLENDİRME
Throughout history, individuals and societies have been affected in different ways by economic, political, geographical and social factors. Events and facts that individuals experience and are affected by, especially during their childhood, leave deep traces on their later lives. Hanna Mina, one of the leading writers of Syrian literature and novel, has managed to convey her literary personality, life story, the values she believes in, and the ideas she defends through the numerous characters she creates in a simple and effective language, and has become one of the distinguished writers who has achieved universality in this way. All these elements have had an impact on the female characters Hanna Mina has created in her works. Despite the narrow perspective of the individual and society towards women and their role in society in her novels Bakaya Suvar and Sira’u İmraeteyn, Hanna Mina has tried to break down the rigidity of this situation in her works and has tried to emphasize the role of women in life. In this study, this problem will be taken as the main purpose, female characters will be examined together with the works discussed, and in the conclusion, explanations will be made on the subject in the light of the data obtained.
