GRİGORY PETROV’UN “İDEALİST ÖĞRETMEN” ADLI ESERİNDE EĞİTİM SORUNLARINA BAKIŞ

Özet

Bu araştırmada, Gregory Petrov’un “İdealist Öğretmen” adlı kitabının eğitim sorunları ve eğitim felsefeleri açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Kitapta o günkü geleneksel eğitim sistemine ilişkin eleştirilerde bulunulmuş; nitelikli, ideal sahibi bir öğretmenin tüm bu olumsuz koşullar altında bile kendine özgü yöntemlerle başarıya ulaşabileceği anlatılmıştır. Çalışmada, eserdeki eğitim ortam ve uygulamalarına dair eleştiriler ve nasıl olması gerektiğiyle ilgili görüşler irdelenerek eğitim sorunları saptanmış, eserle eğitim yaklaşımları arasında ilişki kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. Yazar, ülkesinin geri kalma nedeni olarak mevcut eğitim uygulamalarını görmekte ve nitelikli öğretmenler yetiştirilmesi gerektiğine vurgu yaparak kalkınmanın ancak iyi bir eğitim sistemiyle mümkün olabileceği mesajını vermektedir.

Abstract

In this research, it is aimed to examine Gregory Petrov's book named "Idealist Teacher" in terms of educational problems and educational philosophies. The book has criticized the traditional education system of that day; It has been explained that a qualified and ideal teacher can achieve success even under all these adverse conditions with his own unique methods. In the study, educational problems were determined by examining the criticisms about the educational environment and practices in the work and how it should be, and it was tried to establish a relationship between the work and educational approaches. The author sees the current educational practices as the reason for his country's backwardness and emphasizes the need to train qualified teachers and gives the message that development can only be possible with a good education system.
