Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenenlerin kullandıkları dil öğrenme stratejilerini belirlemek ve yaş, cinsiyet, anadili, eğitim durumu, kur düzeyi, Türkçe dışında bilinen yabancı dil sayısı, Türkçe öğrenme süresi, Türkçe öğrenilen kurum, Türkçe öğrenme yeri ile soy gibi değişkenlerle, kullanılan stratejiler arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir.
Araştırmaya, 7’si YETKM ve 3’ü TÖMER olmak üzere toplam 10 ayrı dil merkezinde Türkçe öğrenen 395 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada, Oxford (1990) tarafından geliştirilen "Dil Öğrenme Stratejileri Envanteri" kullanılmıştır. Bu envanter, araştırmacı tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanmış ve yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılmak üzere 594 öğrencinin katılımıyla geçerlik-güvenirlik çalışması yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin kişisel bilgileri ise yine araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde T-Testi, ANOVA ve Scheffe testlerinden den yararlanılmıştır.
Araştırmaya katılan toplam 395 öğrencinin dil öğrenme stratejileri ölçeğinin altı boyutundan aldıkları puanların ortalama ve standart sapma değerlerine bakıldığında öğrencilerin ortalama puanlarının 3.22 ilâ 3.75 arasında değiştiği görülmektedir. Tüm kategorilerin ortalaması 2.40’ın üzerinde olduğundan çalışmaya katılan öğrenciler tarafından hiçbir dil öğrenme stratejisinin düşük oranda kullanılmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the language learning strategies of learners who leaner Turkish as a foreign language and to examine the relations between the strategy to be used and the age, gender, mother tongue, education, learning level, number of foreign languages to be spoken except for Turkish, duration of learning Turkish, the institution where it is learnt, ancestry and similar variables.
The research was carried out in 10 different language centers, and 7 of them YETKM and 3 of them TOMER, with 395 subjects learning Turkish language. In the research, the “Inventory of Language Learning Strategies” that was developed by Oxford (1990), was used. The inventory was adopted into Turkish by the researcher and the validity and reliability work was conducted with the participation of 594 students to be used in Turkish teaching to foreigners. The personal information of the students was collected with a “Personal Information Form” that was again prepared by the researcher. The T-Test, ANOVA and Scheffe tests were used to analyze the data.
When the average and standard deviation values of points which they were given from the six dimensions of the scale of the language learning strategies of 395 students in total are looked, the average points of the students vary between 3.22 and 3.75. Since the averages of all categories are higher than 2.40, it is seen that the students do not employ any one of the language learning strategies at a low level.
