Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, eğitimde sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımının okul öncesi eğitime devam eden 48-60 aylık çocukların çevre bilincinin desteklenmesi üzerine etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada deney deseni olarak yarı deneysel öntest sontest kontrol gruplu desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu İzmir ili Urla ilçesinde bulunan bağımsız anaokulunun 48-60 ay grubuna ait olan iki ayrı sınıf oluşturmaktadır. Kontrol ve deney grupları eş olasılıklı atama (random) yolu ile belirlenmiştir. Kontrol grubunda (n=15) geleneksel öğretim, deney grubunda (n=15) ise eğitimde sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımı uygulanmıştır. Çalışmaya başlamadan önce ve dört hafta süren uygulamadan sonra çocukların 2013 okul öncesi eğitim programındaki çevre bilincine yönelik amaç ve kazanımlar dikkate alınarak hazırlanan gözlem ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları yardımıyla çevre ve çevre bilinci yönündeki algıları ve duyarlılıkları kayıt altına alınmış; yapılan ilk görüşme ile son görüşmeler değerlendirilmiştir. Sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımı ile yapılan uygulamalar sonrasında fark deney grubu lehine anlamlı çıkmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre okul öncesi eğitimde çevre bilinci kazandırılmasına yönelik farklı yöntemler kullanılması, okul öncesinden başlayarak eğitimin her kademesine çevre eğitimine yönelik müfredat oluşturulması önerilmektedir

Abstract
The aim of this research is to reveal the effects of the system thinking approach to build up consciousness about environment of the pre school children between 48-60 months old. In the research, quasi experimental design, pretest, posttest control group design is used. Study Group is 2 classes( 48-60 months old chidren) of an independent kindergarden in Urla Town of İzmir Province. Control and research groups are designated by equal probability of selection method (random). In the control group (n:15) conventional techniques and in the research group (n:15) system thinking tools are used. Before and after the 4 week process, with the help of the surveys and semi-structured interviews, which are prepared according purpose and learning outcomes of the e2013 pre-school environment education, students’ perception and precision are recorded and the first and the last interviews are evaluated.After the process with the systems thinking, there was a meaningful difference in favour of the research group. According to the results of the study, using different methods to have more environment consciousness in the preschool education, and designing an environment syllabus in every stage of the education system beginning from pre-school are suggested
