Abstract
A Sociological Study on the Living Conditions of the Syrian Refugees in Turkey: The Case of Elazığ Province
In this article, it has been examined the living conditions of the Syrian refugees in Elazığ province (Turkey). Especially, the article focus on characteristics of work/study, basic needs (such as food and clothing), housing, dwelling, education, health, relief, etc. about the Syrian refugees. The research was conducted in the form of survey on a sample group of 100 people. The findings obtained in the field have been analyzed by via SPSS 16 program. It has been seen that Syrian refugees living in Elazığ province have faced great difficulties in particular issues such as food, employment/work and rent payments, rather issues such as housing, health, education, and welfare according to the research findings.
