Abstract
ADOLESCENT HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONNAIRE: STUDY OF VALIDATION AND RELIABILITY
The purpose of this research is to investigate validity and reliability of Adolescent Health and Development Questionnaire. The questionnaire was translated to Turkish and back translation was provided and it was presented to a group of experts for the language. Then the instrument was administered to 985 adolescents. Language compatibility, internal consistency for reliability and confirmatory analyses for validity were investigated. For item-total correlation SPSS 17.00 and for CFA AMOS 16.00 was used. Few corrections were made with regard to the translation study. Item total correlations were computed and Cronbach Alfa values were calculated and some items were excluded. CFA results showed that subscales of the instrument and factor structures showed good fit. Results showed that the instrument is a reliable and valid instrument and ready for use among Turkish adolescents.
