Abstract
URFA SHARIA COURT REGISTRY BOOK NUMBER 211 AND SUBJECT INDEX H. 1292-1293 (1875-1876)
Sharia registries are significant resources of our history and culture civilization. Each of these documents which valued as an important treasure containsrecords of sharia court of Ottoman period. The publication of this books and its contents illustrates better both the cultural life ottoman society and state’s judicial system. In addition, it allows to have more quality content in historical studies which is made. Therefore, examination and introduction of sharia courts registries has a greatimportance to contribute to studies in these areas will be done.
In this article, registry book number 211 which contains the records of Urfa Court Judge comprising between AH. 1292-1293 (1875-1876) years has been examined and introduced. After giving short information about the registry book number 211, documents in the book have been given in summary.
