In this study, a semi-structured interview form prepared for the purpose of collecting data on the examination of teachers' views and perceptions was used. As a result of the research findings, it is seen that the biggest factor in choosing teaching profession as a profession is their own preferences and state assurance comes to the fore. In addition, they expressed the opinion that the teaching profession is still a popular profession, which is accepted by the society and lost its prestige over time. Despite this, it has been concluded that some of the teachers, while performing their profession, have negative perceptions such as the existence of bureaucratic obstacles due to the lack of implementation, the failure due to the difference in the quality of the students, and the fact that the education is exam-oriented. In the research, it was concluded that the majority of the techniques used by the teachers in the learning and teaching process was the traditional method, the narration technique.
