Abstract


PRİMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' VİEWS ON CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT THE PROBLEMS THE FACE AND THE WAYS TO OVERCOME
This research was conducted with the aim of determining the views of primary school mathematics teachers about the classroom management, the problems they faced and the ways of coping with them. This research was carried out by using the maximum diversity method among the probabilistic sampling types working in the province of Çanakkale in 2017-2018 academic year, with a total of 19 teachers who are 12 woman 7 mans. Qualitative method was used in the research. In the study, data were analyzed using descriptive analysis collected by interview form. According to the results of the research, elementary mathematics teachers stated reasons for classroom management difficulties such as prejudice against the class, multiplicity of abstract concepts, enforcement of the mathematics class of the family, and students not in the same class. At the beginning of the struggle with the problems faced by the teachers are oral warning, interesting story, teaching the student by taking lessons, chatting and warning outside the classroom.
